So much rain: here we hang some tarps over our newly completed scaffolding to dry out. We have completed all the walls sections, and have wrapped the first floor plywood sheathing with Tyvek, an air barrier and waterproofing barrier. Our addition is now a major advertising element for Home Depot, albeit upside-down.
The scaffolding makes it possible for us to install the plywood sheathing up to the final 29-foot height of the parapet. Once the plywood (and Tyvek) are completed, we can use the same scaffolding to install the siding panels: each connection of scaffolding to addition is designed in such a way that it can be released and then re-fastened to the siding without having to rebuild the scaffold structure.
