The original link to Cornell's roof terrace webpage was disabled at some point, although the screenshot on my complaint website is reproduced below, next to the message that replaced it, at least as of Jan. 1, 2020.
Cornell has disabled their rooftop pavilion website (left) which, at least sometime before Jan. 1, 2020, had illustrated their intentions to construct temporary rooftop pavilions (right).
Cornell has another website, albeit with no speculative drawings, that reiterates the same idea: "The accessible roof has a structurally reinforced deck to host full-scale experimental pavilions that will be designed and fabricated by Cornell faculty and students. Temporary and speculative, these constructions will anchor the site with rooftop testimonials to ongoing research in architecture and the built environment." In case this new link is disabled at some point, I have downloaded a pdf of the webpage (accessed Jan. 1, 2020) here.
